Rocío Asensi (Madrid, 1971) has a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University in Madrid. She completed her training by taking different courses and workshops focusing on interdisciplinary art and installation.
In 2000 she presented her installation "Balance" as part of Estampa’s “Tentaciones”, and received an Honours Mention from the Casa Velázquez in Madrid. In 2003 she exhibited the installation "Paraíso Artificial" at the Museum of the University of Alicante (MUA), as part of the group exhibition "(Encontres) art al voltant". She later exhibited this work in our gallery. In 2004 she exhibited “Lo aparente y lo oculto” in Estampa’s “Tentaciones” for which she received the prize awarded by the city of Madrid. In 2007 she won the Award for Artistic Creation of the Community of Madrid for her "En qué se diferencian nuestros sueños?”
