We invite you to discover the new exhibition “Tonalidades” by Beatriz Olano, in collaboration with the Nueve Ochenta gallery, Bogotá.
The artist has worked on a series of canvases in different formats, focusing on the line—of varying colors and thicknesses—which can transform the interior of squares and rectangles. The lines modify the spaces, stretch and reorganize them, creating new relationships within the canvas. In the exhibition, color appears as an instinctive expression, whose tonalities generate sensations and atmospheres that the artist does not seek to fully control. Each piece is, at its core, a conversation between these tonalities and the artist’s gesture.
