The digital catalogue of the exhibition “The other shore” by Lina Espinosa at #LaCriptaProjects is now available for consultation. You can view it on our website as well as on ISSUU.

The other shore presents in #LaCriptaProjects a series of drawings by Lina Espinosa that form a chromatic diary created over a year of travel and introspection. Throughout this process, the artist discovered how her way of inhabiting each place transformed her perception of color, leading her to observe closely the shifting palettes of cities, mountains, crypts, and forests.

In Rome she rediscovered the warm ochres of her memories and, after visiting the Crypt of San Magno in Anagni, where she was struck by an exceptional medieval diagram that bridges science and art, she felt compelled to continue these chromatic sequences. Later, in the French meadows and the museums of Madrid, new silences, landscapes, and encounters enriched her gaze.

Back in Colombia, the soundscape of the countryside and the mountains of Iguaque revealed to her a natural rhythm that resonated with her own breathing. In that state of attentiveness, each stroke of color on the cotton paper became a moment of clarity, a pause in which the world opens.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit the exhibition yet, it will be on view until February 7.
